São Tomé gained this name due to its location of extraction, in the south of Minas Gerais, in the city of São Tomé das Letras.
The São Tomé stone is considered a quartzite, as it is formed from quartz grains.
In this filleted or hominy model, the stones have height of 3 centimeters and varied lengths. With thicknesses ranging from 8 mm a 2 centimeters, it has a straight, rough face and fine stones that bring symmetry and modernity to any environment
São Tomé, in addition to being super resistant, is an athermic stone, that is, does not heat up and can be used outdoors quietly.
