São Tomé gained this name due to its location of extraction, in the south of Minas Gerais, in the city of São Tomé das Letras.
The São Tomé stone is considered a quartzite, as it is formed from quartz grains.
In this mosaic model, the stones have sizes 3×3, 3×6 e 6×6 centimeters on a plate of 30 x 30 centimeters. With thicknesses ranging from 1 a 1,5 centimeters, this variation when installed on walls gives the impression of a 3D coating., high and low relief.
São Tomé, in addition to being super resistant, is an athermic stone, that is, does not heat up and can be used outdoors quietly.
