São Tomé gained this name due to its location of extraction, in the south of Minas Gerais, in the city of São Tomé das Letras.
The São Tomé stone is considered a quartzite, as it is formed from quartz grains.
In this filleted or hominy model, the stones do not have a defined size. With thicknesses ranging from 1 a 4 centimeters, it has an irregular face and fine stones that bring rusticity to any environment, without losing the beauty.
São Tomé, in addition to being super resistant, is an athermic stone, that is, does not heat up and can be used outdoors quietly.
